People · Accountability Chart®
Your whole company draws as one Accountability Chart — every seat, its roles, and who holds it — kept current for people and AI alike.
Define the seat once — the top five roles you would hand the next person who sits there — and the accountability endures when the person in it changes.
One chart for the whole company, from the Visionary down through every team. Nobody has to ask who owns something.
It starts at one seat at the top and runs down through every team — reporting lines cross team boundaries, and the chart draws them that way. Open it from any team and it is the same chart.
A seat card shows who holds it, with their avatar — or reads Vacant. A vacant seat is a role you have defined and not yet filled, so the structure you are building toward stays on the chart, not in somebody’s head.
A chart big enough to be true is too big to read at once. Click the count under a leader’s name and the chart redraws around their branch alone — a breadcrumb names the way back, and Esc brings the whole company home.
The seat sheet opens on exactly that advice. Type a role, press Enter, and it lands in the list with the cursor already waiting for the next one — while the live preview shows the card exactly as the chart will carry it.
The Owned by picker offers everyone across the organization — not just the team you happen to be switched to. The right person for a seat often sits somewhere else, and you can still pick them. The card paints before the save finishes.
Move a seat under any seat in the organization — press Change under Reports to, pick the new parent, and the chart redraws immediately. Every structural edit first saves a snapshot of the chart as it was, so no reorganization loses the version before it.
Anyone who can see the chart can print it — no admin gate. Three formats: the visual chart one team per page with a title page in front, a page per seat with everything it carries, and a clickable index of every seat’s process documents.
Keep track of and share agent accountability the same way you do for people.
Clear connections and clear context — easy for the human brain and easy for AI.
The V/TO® sets the vision, the seats own delivering it, and the Rocks, 1-on-1s and Quarterly Conversations run against the same seats. One record underneath.
Live for every viewer, a saved copy behind every change, and a readable printout for the room. The structure stays true; nobody works from a stale copy.
A colleague fills a seat while you have the chart open and it updates in front of you — no reload, no blank-and-redraw. Nobody works from a copy.
Every structural change first saves the chart as it was. A reorganization never loses what came before — restore any version.
Trim the chart to the depth you need, size it to the canvas in one press, and your place is kept when you open a seat and close it again.
Ask the assistant to set up the chart and it reports how many seats it made and what the top one is called. One seat at a time, it offers the Seat Builder first.
Everything one person is accountable for, across every team they belong to — one read, one place to look.
Each seat carries its process and playbook documents — and the Process/Playbook Index prints them as a clickable page per seat.
